Mary Frances (Dann) Little

Mary Frances Dann Little, 92, of Brownsville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Townview Health & Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.  Born July 11, 1930 in Cleveland, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles Aurthur Dann Jr. and Rachel Protzman Dann.  A resident of Brownsville for the past 30 years, Mrs. Little was a member of Trinity Church, Washington.  Mary was very proud of earning her Masters in History from Columbia University and her Masters in Counseling from Geneva College.  She later used her degrees in serving as a teacher, musician, counselor and missionary. Mary was also an avid gardener and quilter.

She is survived by her husband James Russell Little to whom she was married 66 years, her children James Little Jr. of Brownsville, Janet Joy Little of Brownsville, Jonathan Requa Little & wife Mary of Woodbine, MD, Julia & Daniel Little Star of Eighty Four, David & Brenda Little of Westminster, MD; six grandchildren Jessica Little, Joshua Little, Emily Little Bruno, Max Little, Alta Rose Little, Rebekah Ross, five great grandchildren Rowan Bruno, Albrecht Bruno, Emmy Little, Talia Ross, Mckenna Ross.  She is preceded in death by her sister Doris White, brother Charles Dann and granddaughter Madison Little.
