Matthew Attanucci, 49, of Perryopolis, died Friday, May 11, 2018 at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown. Born March 10, 1969 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Caesar and Carole Lippl DeFrancisco of Chalk Hill, PA. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 20 years, Mr. Attanucci was a member of St. John The Baptist RC Church and was a senior financial advisor with Lincoln Investment. Matthew loved and adored his wife and daughters above everything else. He lived his life to the fullest always making sure family and friends enjoyed life with him. Matthew was a proud member of the Perryopolis Sons of Italy, a philanthropist and a very active member of the community, church and a friend to everyone. Matthew will be missed.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Christine Sullivan Attanucci to whom he would have been married 19 years in July; two daughters Karissa Attanucci and Brooke Attanucci both at home; brother & sister in law Jason & Leann Attanucci of Peters Twp.; sister in law Peggy Sullivan of Pittsburgh; mother in law Hermine Sullivan of Perryopolis and three nephews Luca, Logan and Rocco Attanucci.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6-8 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Prayers of Transfer will be held Wednesday at 9:45 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:30 am at St. John The Baptist RC Church with the Rev. Anthony W. Ditto as celebrant. Interment will take place in St. John The Baptist RC Cemetery. Members of St. John the Baptist Church will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Matthew Attanucci Tuesday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Matthew Attanucci Memorial Education Fund. Please make check payable to the Frazier School District.
