Agnes Molnar

Agnes ‘Nane’ Kostal Molnar, 90, of Gillespie, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 8:05 am at Dunlevy Gardens Nursing Home, Dunlevy. Born July 4, 1925 in Gillespie, PA she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Justina Krivda Kostal. A lifelong resident of Gillespie, Mrs. Molnar was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church and the former Holy Spirit RC Church, Fayette City. She served as former Judge of Elections in Gillespie, enjoyed gardening, canning and loved to spend time with and take care of her family. The holidays were always special to her when the entire family was together. Agnes was also noted for saying 'It will all work out."
She is survived by her children Loraine Leeper of Belle Vernon, William J. Molnar Jr. & wife Tracy of Gillespie, Ronald Molnar & wife Marianne of Perryopolis; four grandchildren Bud Leeper & wife Tracey, Andrea E. Shoaf & husband Jason, Brittany Phillips & husband Colby, Marissa Molnar & Joel and three great grandchildren Justin Leeper, Cody Leeper and Kelsey Leeper. She is preceded in death by her husband William J. Molnar 6/29/2010; four sisters Jennie Turchek, Helen Sedlak, Jessie Claybaugh, Marie Koliscak and a son in law Bud Leeper.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 6-8 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Agnes Molnar Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
