Alice J. Buono

Alice J. Huntington Buono, 82, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in her home. Born June 21, 1942 in New Kensington, PA she was the daughter of the late Lafayette and Marie Reedy Huntington. Mrs. Buono was a member of the Arnold United Methodist Church, Arnold, and was a chef at the Sheraton Inn and later served as a manager at the Dutch Pantry, Clarion.

She is survived by her two daughters & son in law Sandy & Joe Tretter of North Belle Vernon, Deb Buono of North Belle Vernon, three foster children, three grandchildren Susie Tretter, Joey Tretter III, Magnolia & Dan Brown, three great grandchildren Adam, Luke, Dominic and one on the way in August, brother & sister-in-law Daryl & Susan Huntington, sister Sally Conte of Allison Park. She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Buono (12-28-2023), brother Earl Huntington, and sister Nancy Shipley.

Services will be held privately for the family. Alice’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
