Connie Lee (Wood) Scaccia

Connie Lee Wood Scaccia, 76, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023 at her home.  Born November 23, 1946 in Princeton, WV she was the daughter of the late Thomas Fred Wood Jr. and Lillian Rose Davidson Wood.  A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 54 years, formerly of Bluefield, WV, Mrs. Scaccia was a member of the First Baptist Church, Belle Vernon.  Connie worked in the assembly line in a mattress factory, enjoyed puzzles, was a seamstress and made quilts.

She is survived by her husband Carmen Scaccia to whom she was married to for 53 years, two daughters & sons in law Cheryl & Jeff Anthony of Benton, AR, Christi & Luis Zhicay of Belle Vernon, three grandchildren Jordan Amen, Morgan Anthony, Samuel Ali and two great grandchildren Sadie & Julia Amen.  She is preceded in death by her brother Thomas Fred Wood III, sister Gayle Wood and baby boy.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12-1 PM followed by funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Earl Rosenbalm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
