David C. Bosetti, 62, of Scottdale, previously of Belle Vernon, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at 9:49 a.m. at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 3, 1955, in North Charleroi, he was the son of the late Melvin F. and Anna Praskavich Bosetti. A resident of Scottdale for the past 8 years, Mr. Bosetti was retired from Specialty Printing, Charleroi, where he worked as a printer. After his retirement David worked as a Harley Davison mechanic and also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Gail Hammerle Bosetti, to whom he was married 25 years; four stepchildren, Lisa and Dave Mayercheck of Belle Vernon, William and Lana Schanz of Van Meter, Denny and Adrian Dillon of Mt. Pleasant, Edward Dillon and girlfriend, Laura, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; brother, Dennis Bosetti of North Belle Vernon; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and his “favorite son”, Doodles. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, with the Pastor Chip Norton officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
