Faustine Still, 94, of Filburn Manor, West Newton, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home. Born December 4, 1926 in Highspire, PA she was the daughter of the late Thomas William Still Sr. and Clara Seiders Still. A resident of West Newton for the past seven years, having previous resided in Belle Vernon since 1948, was a member of the former First Baptist Church, Monessen, a graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, and later worked at the Naval Base in Mechanicsburg before moving to Belle Vernon.
The last surviving member of her family she is survived by daughter & son in law Claire & Kenneth Torkish of Belle Vernon, son & daughter in law Garmon Longnecker Jr. & wife Belinda of North Belle Vernon; five grandchildren Jennifer (Rob) Dekerlegand, Jason (Alyson) Longnecker, Jill (Eddie) Oshetsky, Amy (Keith) Myers, Kimberly Manint; seven great grandchildren Brandon & Nathan Dekerlegand, Amelia, Natalie & Maggie Longnecker, Sadie & Sophie Oshetsky and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by five brothers Thomas William Still Jr., Martin Ulysses Still, Russell Still, Conelius Still, Theodore Still; seven sisters Lillian Flowers, Geraldine Martin, Valerian Wittle, Beatrice Still, Bernice Kline, Charlotte Wolf and Daris Still.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 11:00 AM with Jason Longnecker, Elder at Bible Alliance Church, West Newton officiating. Interment will take place in Rehoboth Cemetery.
