George A. Pollack

George A. Pollack, 85, of Rostraver Twp., passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born June 14, 1938 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Mary Costella.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Pollack retired from IBEW Local 126, where he worked as a Lineman.  George was a veteran having served in the US Navy, enjoyed woodworking, gardening, hunting, and cooking.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Scott Pollack to whom he was married 63 years; two daughters Lori Pollack of Belle Vernon, Cheryl Sztroin of Belle Vernon; son & daughter in law Chris & Frannie Pollack of State College; three grandchildren Scott Sztroin, Jeremy Boyd & Stephanie Taylor, Noah Pollack and a great granddaughter Faith Boyd.  He is preceded in death by a brother Robert Pollack.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM with the Pastor Jeff Marton of HOPE Center Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Monongahela Cemetery.
