George T. Pulaski, 73, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2:04 pm at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 24, 1943 in Belle Vernon, he is preceded in death by his parents George and Lena Chmielewski Pulaski and Henry & Stella Anielewski. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Pulaski was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon and was a retired crane man from US Steel Irvin Works. George enjoyed playing the lottery was a member of the PNA, was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, was one to always lend a helping hand to his neighbors and most of all loved spending time and vacationing with his family.
He is survived by his wife Helen Kuch Pulaski to whom he was married 52 ½ years, four children George Pulaski of Jacksonville, FL, Steven Pulaski of Pittsburgh, Leanne & Steve Hutton of Gibsonia, Laurie & Seth Fosmire of Houston; seven grandchildren Erik Pulaski, Elizabeth Pulaski, Jack Hutton, Anna Hutton, Steven Hutton, Van Fosmire, Alex Fosmire; two brothers & sisters in law Tom & Sue Anielewski of Elco, David & Cheryl Anielewski of Belle Vernon; two sisters & brothers in law Roseann & Cliff Biddlestone of Belle Vernon and Sylvia & Ken Stulock of Belle Vernon. He is preceded in death by two brothers Henry Anielewski and Walter Anielewski.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of George Pulaski Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
