Gerald D. “Jetters” Stasicha, 75, of Rostraver, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at his home after valiantly battling cancer with his loving and supportive family by his side. Born December 28, 1947 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Carl Stasicha Sr. and Geraldine Briggs Stasicha. Jetters grew up in Charleroi and was a resident of Rostraver for the past 15 years. He was Catholic by faith and attended St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen and St. Anne’s RC Church in Rostraver. In his earlier years, Jetters was employed at Lee Supply and also worked for Republic Steel (Banning Mine). As he moved on in life, he was employed at Primerica Financial Services, where he worked as a Financial Advisor. He was an active member of the Rostraver-Monessen Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Award. He worked tirelessly to fundraise for the Rotary scholarship fund, especially at the annual Oldies Dance. He also volunteered to be Santa Claus for various programs over the holidays, including SPHS Day. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Toys for Tots, and enjoyed coaching many youth sports. Jetters was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and a passionate Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed traveling to Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and Disney World, but one of his favorite places to be was home away from home, Mountain Pines Campground. Jetters always had such a big personality and anyone who knew him a little would know him a lot.
