Helen A. Malinowsky Trenk, 96, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Mon Valley Hospital, with angels leading her into heaven. Born September 21, 1923 in Fairhope, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Frances Goarlez Malinowsky. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Trenk was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, was a member of the Christian Mothers from the former Holy Spirit RC Church, Fayette City, enjoyed playing cards with her local card clubs, bowling, was an avid baker and most of all enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The last surviving member of her family Helen is survived by her two daughters & son in law Linda & Raymond Rathway of Perryopolis, Michelle Moody of Fayette City, nine grandchildren Robinette, Ronna, Rae Lynn, Scott, Shawn, Christopher, Douglas, Charlie, Rosemary; 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband William Trenk (5/17/1996); son William L. Trenk; son in law William A. Moody; two brothers Walter Malinowsky, Adolph Malinowsky, five sisters Stella Malinowsky, Blance Petrosky Moskal, Steffie DuJardin, Nellie Basile, Frances Seman.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Mom had her favorite saying and always got in the last word with her ‘Whatever’.
Keeping in compliance with the County and State Mandate of “green phase”, guests are asked to please abide by personal protective guidelines, masks MUST be worn and social distancing must still be maintained.
