Helene (Semancik) Wozniak

Helene Semancik Wozniak, 84, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Residence At Hilltop, Monongahela.  Born August 20, 1936 in Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Zemancik Semancik.  A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 63 years, Mrs. Wozniak was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon, was a homemaker and was active in various parish activities, enjoyed antiquing and her flower garden.

She is survived by her children Denise Wozniak of Belle Vernon, Richard A. Wozniak & wife Elena of Westerville, Ohio, brother & sister in law Larry & Cecelia Semancik of DuBois; sister & brother in law Joan & John Ciccarelli of Belle Vernon and two granddaughters Rachel Wozniak and Kelli Wozniak.  She is preceded in death by her husband Donald D.  Wozniak (2/8/2006).

Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church.  Entombment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Keeping in compliance with the County and State Mandate, guests are asked to please abide by personal protective guidelines, masks MUST be worn, social distancing must still be maintained and to please minimize your visit to allow other family and friends to pay their respects to the family since we are still limited to 25 guests in the funeral home at a given time. Family and friends are also asked to please meet directly at St. Sebastian Church on Tuesday if attending the funeral mass.
