Janet (Youshock) Bitonti

Janet Youshock Bitonti, 87, of Wake Forest, NC, formerly of Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Wake Med, Raleigh, NC.  Born June 8, 1935 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Ann Sivie Youshock.  A resident of Wake Forest for the past 11 years, Mrs. Bitonti was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon, a homemaker, a member of the Valley Garden Club, an avid bingo player at Washington Twp. Fire Dept., involved with Girl Scouts, and enjoyed volunteering at the Mon Valley Hospital gift shop.

She is survived by son Michael S. Bitonti of Columbia, SC; two daughters & sons in law Kathleen & Brian Dixon of Rolesville, NC, Tracy & Rick Lower of Washington DC; two grandchildren Shawn M. Dixon, Matthew S. Dixon and a brother John 'Jack' Youshock of Belle Vernon.  She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel M.  Bitonti.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
