Janet A. Bulger

Janet A. Nicholson Bulger, 96, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela.  Born November 1, 1922 in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late George and Carrie May Miller Nicholson.  A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 68 years, Mrs. Bulger was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and was retired from the former Hills Dept. Store, Belle Vernon where she worked as an Assistant Supervisor.  Janet enjoyed listening to music, crossword puzzles and crocheting.

She is survived by her five children Marianne & Paul Strizak of Rockville, MD, Thomas & Kerry Armstrong of Coraopolis, Linda & Michael Behling of Monongahela, Patricia & Ronald Russin of Grindstone, Katherine Rao of West Hills, CA; six grandchildren Lori (Randall) Russell, Mary Beth Howe, Sheri (Thomas) Rea, Vijay (Celine) Rao, Sanjay (Shan) Rao, Robert Armstrong; five great grandchildren Jonathan Russell, Andrew Howe, Logan Armstrong, Aiden Rea, Elizabeth Russell and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald M.  Bulger (1959); granddaughter Judith Strizak; great grandson Henry Rao; son in law Ramana Rao and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Derek Platt of First United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
