Josephine Lubas Bacha, 96, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., died Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 9:30 pm at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born March 10, 1920 in McKees Rocks, PA she was the daughter of the late Emma Lubas. A resident of Washington Twp. for the past 67 years, she was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church Belle Vernon and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons & two daughters in law John F. & Connie Bacha of Mt. Lebanon, Robert Bacha of Belle Vernon, George & Kathy Bacha of Yukon; two daughters and son in law Lorraine Kibler of Belle Vernon, Joanne & David Santoro of Belle Vernon; seven grandchildren Allison Machusko & husband Sean, Ryan Kibler & wife Abby, John Joseph Bacha & wife Elizabeth, Jason Michael Bacha & wife Liane, Julie Santoro, Zachary Santoro, Joshua Santoro; and five great grandchildren Amanda Bacha, Lily Machusko, Ella Machusko, Ava Kibler and Jackson Kibler. She is preceded in death by her husband John M. Bacha (3/24/1982), son in law Larry Kibler; two brothers Joseph Lubas, Tony Lubas and two sisters Betty Kelly and Ann McKinley.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Josephine Bacha Friday at 3 PM in the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and aids at OSPTA Hospice Christine, Tracy, Sue, Kathy and Amy for their compassionate care.
