Josephine Pasqua Fayak, 88, of North Belle Vernon, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 12:35 pm at UPMC Pasavant Cranberry Hospital, Cranberry Twp. Born November 19, 1928 in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Santilli Pasqua. A resident of North Belle Vernon for the past 63 years, Mrs. Fayak was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards with several card clubs, loved to cook and entertain at her house for family and friends, enjoyed spending time with her family and was affectionately known as Spunky to her friends.
She is survived by a daughter & son in law Carla Fayak & Husband Bernie Collins of McMurray; two grandchildren Cara Mia Fayak and Michol Miller & Husband Steve. he is preceded in death by her husband Carl M. Fayak; a son Carl M. Fayak Jr.; brother Anthony Pasqua and a sister Rose Mary Lopiccolo.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Josephine Fayak Tuesday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
