Karen Lee Kreger

Karen Lee Kreger, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home after a brief illness.  Born October 29, 1946 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late Dr. Oliver Judson Kreger Jr. and Helen Frances Tressler Kreger.  Karen was Baptist by faith, a graduate of Monessen High School Class of 1964, graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and earned her anesthesia BS at LaRoche College.  She loved her pets, especially her dog Kaia, enjoyed music, gardening, traveling, boating and was very talented in needle point. She will be remembered by many for her caring and kindness.

She is survived by her lifelong companion Richard Pukal of North Huntingdon, brother & sister-in-law Thomas & Linda Kreger of Monessen and nephew Brian Kreger of Dublin, OH.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 followed by funeral services at 4 PM with Pastor Sam Batton of the First Christian Church, Belle Vernon officiating.  Private family interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
