Kourtney Lynn Gavatorta

Kourtney Lynn Gavatorta, 22, of West Newton, Rostraver Twp., passed away Friday, February 4, 2022.  Born November 17, 1999 in Monongahela, PA she was the daughter of the late James A. Gavatorta and Krista Gray Gavatorta who survives and resides in Rostraver Twp.  A lifelong resident of Rostraver Twp., Kourtney was a server at Jake's Pizza, Rostraver. She was a Belle Vernon Area High School graduate and a graduate of Douglas School with an associate in cosmetology and aesthetics.  She enjoyed playing softball all throughout her childhood, high school and travel, enjoyed all music, she loved to dance and go to concerts with her family.  Kourtney enjoyed going out to eat, being creative and doing DIY crafts, loved her dog Winter and going on vacations and spending time with her family, especially her niece Brynlee.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister Karlee Gavatorta, sister & brother-in-law Kandice & Zach Gaines, sister & brother-in-law Katelyn & Mario Rendina, special sister/ Best Friend Karly McBride, niece and nephew Brynlee & Lorenzo Rendina, maternal grandmother Sally Gray and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father and paternal grandmother Donna Gavatorta.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10 AM with the Pastor Mary Kay Glunt of First Presbyterian Church, Belle Vernon, officiating.

Interment will take place in West Newton Cemetery.
