Linda Kovatch

Linda Galla Kovatch, 69, of Fayette City, died Saturday, April 9, 2016.  Born February 10, 1947 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Bilsky Galla.   A lifelong resident of Fayette City, Mrs. Kovatch was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fayette City and was a homemaker.  Linda was a member of the Fayette Beagle Club Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed playing bingo and was very devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Steven 'Sonny' Kovatch to whom she was married 47 years; two sons & daughters in law Steven Kovatch & wife Mary Ann of Belle Vernon, Daniel Kovatch & wife Kimberly of Belle Vernon; a daughter & son in law Tracy Sypolt & husband Bobby of Twilight, seven grandchildren Steven Kovatch, Taylor Kovatch, Tommy Kovatch, Tyler Kovatch, Trevor Kovatch, Kaylee Sypolt, Tanner Sypolt; sister Diane Williams of Belle Vernon and a sister in law Patricia Baron of Perryopolis.  She is preceded in death by her brother Edward Baron.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Services will be held Wednesday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 01:00 PM with the Rev. Michael Shepard of First Presbyterian Church, Fayette City officiating.  Interment will take place in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Fayette City.
