Lisa M. Miller Pilarcik, 54, of Scenery Hill, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Donnell House, Washington. Born January 9, 1970 in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of John 'Jack' Miller of Belle Vernon and Sharon Miller Dalton and husband Gary of Fayette City. A resident of Scenery Hill for the past 19 years, Lisa was Christian by faith. She was a hospice nurse until she was diagnosed with ALS in 2020. Her work was her passion, she spent her career providing love, comfort, and care to her patients. Family was the most important thing to her, she enjoyed spending time with them, doing outdoor activities with her husband, hunting, fishing, and loved the Outer Banks. She played softball as a shortstop for Belle Vernon and Renegade Travel team then later coached.
She is survived by her husband Frank Pilarcik to whom she just celebrated 29 years of marriage in December, two sons & daughter in law Jacob & Marissa Pilarcik of Plum, Alexander Pilarcik of Scenery Hill; brother Ryan Miller; mother in law Jamie Pilarcik. She is preceded in death by her brother Scott E. Miller, niece Paige Miller, stepmother Diana Miller, and father in law Charles Pilarcik.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 12-4 PM followed by funeral service at 4 PM in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
