Marion Chuboy

Marion A. Jenco Chuboy, 82, of Perryopolis, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.  Born November 22, 1936 in Elizabeth Twp., PA she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Patricia Prolenski Jenco.  A resident of Perryopolis for the past 41 years, Mrs. Chuboy was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis and was a homemaker.  Marion was a former member of the Perryopolis Travel Club, Fayette County Republican Committee and the former VFW Post 7023 Ladies Auxiliary.  Marion also enjoyed reading and going shopping.

She is survived by her husband Gilbert R. Chuboy to whom she was married 41 years; son Timothy Pershing; five step children Caroline (Craig) Smith of Rostraver Twp., Michaelle Anderkovitch of Perryopolis, Robert (Veronica) Chuboy of Perryopolis, Alex (Becky) Chuboy of Perryopolis, Joseph (Ryan) Chuboy of Perryopolis; nine grandchildren Matthew Anderkovitch, Jacob Anderkovitch, Luke Anderkovitch, Charlotte Anderkovitch, Rachael Chuboy, Christina Chuboy, Jessica Chuboy, Bethann Chuboy, Emma Chuboy and her pet dog Blackie.  She is preceded in death by her two brothers Myron & Donald Jenco.

Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Efren Ambre of St. John The Baptist RC Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery.  Members of St. John the Baptist Church will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Marion Chuboy Monday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
