Nancy Lyons

Nancy Moyer Lyons, 73, of Belle Vernon, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 3:08 pm at her home. Born July 20, 1943 in N. Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Naoma Dattis Moyer. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Nancy was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon, was a retired office manager for On Demand Energy in Moon Twp. for over 15 years, was a member of the Naomi Athletic Club, played in several local card clubs and enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas. She also loved the mountains, camping, traveling and gardening. Nancy also operated her in home hair salon for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband Gregory Lyons to whom she was married for 16 years; three children Kelly Harvey of Belle Vernon, Joseph Olszewski of Las Vegas, NV, Danielle Olszewski of Las Vegas, NV; two step children Kady Jo Bowman of Parkersburg, WV, Chelsea Benson of Ravenswood, WV; brother Bill Moyer of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters Mary Romero of Las Vegas, NV, Susan Moyer-Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; step Mother Shirley Moyer of Las Vegas, NV and 12 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brother Robbie Moyer.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 9:30 AM with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rehoboth Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Nancy Lyons Friday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
