O. Carol Jericho Zundel, 79, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away peacefully Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. Born December 1, 1939 in Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Charles (Jerry) and Violet Baker Jericho. Carol grew up in Charleroi and settled with her late husband Earl D. Zundel in Rostraver Twp. to whom she was married 49 years. She was a member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, Rostraver Twp., and still actively attended church on a regular basis. Carol was a homemaker and a loving grandmother. Carol was affiliated with the Rostraver Food Bank with 15 years of service. She co-owned and operated Antiques Plus with her husband for over 40 years. Carol put the Plus in Antiques Plus with her artistic ability for decorative painting of antique furniture and tin-ware as well as decorative seasonal craft/painting.
She is survived by daughter Jerri Lynn Zundel of Pittsburgh; son & daughter in law Douglas & Luanne Zundel of Belle Vernon and two grandchildren Andrew Zundel and Sarah Zundel whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl D. Zundel.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Donald Glunt Pastor of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rehoboth Cemetery.
