Olga Bazilwich Sapinsky, 96, of Peachtree City, GA formerly of Smithton, died Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Eternal Hope Hospice, Griffin, GA. Born August 22, 1921 in Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Pasterchik Bazilwich. A resident of Peachtree City for the past 4 years, Mrs. Sapinsky was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church and was retired from Westmoreland Manor, where she worked in housekeeping.
She is survived by two sons & daughters in law Max & Alberta 'Jinky' Sapinsky Jr. of Apollo, Edward Paul & Cathy Sapinsky of Beverly Hills, FL; two daughters & sons in law Jean Marie & Edward Cicci of Peachtree City, GA, Betty Ann & Bill Kozlow of Pinellas Park, FL; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Max Sapinsky Sr.; four brothers Paul, Michael, John and Russell Bazilwich; two sisters Ann Zuraw, Eva Skurkay and a grandson James Sapinsky.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church on Friday at 12 Noon for funeral services with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held Thursday at 7 PM.
