Paul Marshall

Paul R. Marshall, 81, formerly of Monessen, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Country Care Manor, Washington Twp.  Born January 20, 1935 in North Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth T. Miller Marshall.  Paul was a resident of Washington Twp. having previously resided in Monessen for over 34 years.  He was retired maintenance worker from Belle Vernon Cemetery, was a life member North Belle Vernon Volunteer Fire Department, Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 and a social member of the Monessen #2 Fireman’s Club.

He is survived by 3 sons by his first marriage Richard P. & Barbara Marshall of Roscoe, Kevin & Pam Behanna of Carroll Twp., Larry & Colleen Marshall of Glassport; a daughter in law Christina Rumbaugh of Tyrone;  10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife Bertha F.  Cervi Orsilli Marshall; a son Charles Bruce Rumbaugh; a brother William G. Marshall and a sister Grace Loraine Rumbaugh.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral srvices will be held Monday in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Derek Platt of First United Methodist Church officiating.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of the North Belle Vernon Fire Department will conduct services Sunday at 6:30 pm and the Belle Vernon American Legion will conduct services Sunday evening at 7 pm.
