Richard H. Fisher III

Richard H. Fisher, III, 84, of Layton, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at his home.  Born September 13, 1935 in Connellsville, PA he was the son of the late Richard H. and Elizabeth Bell MacDonald Fisher II.  Mr. Fisher was a lifelong resident of the Perryopolis area.  Mr. Fisher was self employed, where he worked as a carpenter and enjoyed building miniature cars and airplanes.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha V.  Tiernan Fisher, to whom he was married to for 63 years, five children Daniel Fisher & wife Debbie of Star Junction, Janet Rogers & husband Jim of Ohio, Richard H. Fisher IV & wife Debbie of Perry Twp., Cheryl Halucha of Belle Vernon, Melissa Welling & husband Larry of Austin, Texas, two sisters & brothers in law Diana & William McGonigle of Bridgeville, Debra K. & Clifford Wolfe of Florida, nine grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Johnny, Richard, Tonya, Stephanie, Emily, Daniel, Jessica, and 18 great grandchildren.

Richard was loved and respected by his family, many friends and neighbors.  He will be sadly missed but will live in our hearts forever.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and state mandate funeral services will be private.
