Roger D. Poling

Roger D. Poling, 69, of Perryopolis, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home. Born July 23, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Kenneth and Louise Bonner Poling. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 46 years, Mr. Poling belonged to the Rooted Ministries Christian Church, Uniontown and was retired from US Steel, West Mifflin, where he worked as a Truck Driver. He was an avid hunter, golfer, and especially enjoyed entertaining and playing with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Robin Stewart Poling to whom he was married to for 46 years, son & daughter in law Adam & Jessica Poling of Williamsburg, VA, daughter & son in law Livia & Chris Marcinko of Uniontown, two brothers & sisters in law Larry & Mary Jane Poling of Perryopolis, Jack & Rahmy Poling of Perryopolis, three sisters & brothers in law Carol & Pat Mckeever of Perryopolis, Patty Poling & Joe Hmelyar of Fairbanks, PA, Cindy McGill of Smock, three grandchildren Alice Poling, Irelynn Marcinko, Liam Marcinko, and numerous nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Joyce Gerber, two brothers in law Joe Gerber and Ray McGill. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 16 from 4-5 PM followed by a memorial service at 5 PM with Pastor Mark Scott officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Roger D. Poling to the Joseph Marcinek Foundation.
