Ronald Lee Lombard, 69, of Perryopolis, died Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home. Born December 13, 1948 in Columbia, SC he was the son of the late Jack and Rose Jeffries Lombard. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 55 years, Mr. Lombard was a retired teacher and administrator with the Frazier School District for 29 years, coached Frazier football for 15 years and later served as a professor at Chatham University of Pittsburgh for 12 years and also as an adjunct professor at Gannon University for 14 years. Ron served as a member and past President on the Perryopolis Borough Council for 38 years and served on the Board of Directors with the Mon-Vale Health Resources for 15 years. He also enjoyed worldwide traveling with his wife and scuba diving. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Anastasia Dzurko Lombard to whom he was married 48 years; two sons & daughters in law Christopher & Christine Lombard of Perryopolis, Craig & Christina Lombard of Perryopolis; daughter & son in law Laura & Timothy Lion of Perryopolis; eight grandchildren Kacie Lombard, Chelsie Lombard, Celeste Lombard, Ginya Lombard, Lola Lombard, Hayden Lombard, Nathaniel 'Gus' Lion, Anastasia Lion; two brothers & sisters in law Rick & Patty Lombard of Huntingdon, Gary & Marlee Lombard of Parkersburg, WV and a sister & brother in law Carole & Randy Inman of Perryopolis
