Ronald J. Wood

Ronald J. Wood, 50, of Greensburg, formerly of Export and Belle Vernon, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh after a lengthy battle with COVID.  Born July 13, 1970 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of Robert and Janet Wilson Baron of Washington Twp.  A resident of Greensburg for the past year, Ron was a truck driver for Estes Trucking for 14 years, loved camping at Mountain Pines, vacationing at Ocean City during OC BikeFest, was a member of White Valley Am Vets, Export Moose, was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguins fan and always enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen ‘Kathie’ Kozusko Glunt Wood to whom he was married 7 years, seven children Jakki Ross & husband David of Belle Vernon, Jocelyn Frucella & husband Anthony of Fayette City, Kiera Wood & Fiancé Lloyd of Belle Vernon, Caressa Wood & Fiancé Jeremy of Fayette City, Lauren Glunt & Fiancé Cameron of Delmont, Taylor Glunt & RJ of Greensburg, and Tommy Glunt of Greensburg, two brothers & sister in law  Robert Wood of Roscoe, Lee & Rae Lynn Baron of Belle Vernon, mother in law Rose Marino of Greensburg, father in law Ronald and wife Jeffrie Kozusko of Pinellas Park, FL, brothers in law Steve & Stephanie Kozusko of Frazeysburg, OH, Adam Kozusko fo Pittsburgh, Brad and Alli Kozusko of Pittsburgh, sister Lisa Wood, sister in law Mary & Jeff Worst of Apollo, three grandchildren Novastasia, Anthony 'Little T', and Scarlett, nieces and nephews Jonathan Wood, Hayden Baron, Landen Baron, Ethan Baron, Jacob Cochran, Derrick Valdiserri, Jake Valdiserri, Josh Valdiserri, Jacquelyn Jupina, Brooke Kozusko, Megan Kozusko and pet dog Harley.  Ronald was also survived by many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-8 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10 AM conducted by Lee Baron.  Interment will take place in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Rick’s Sports Bar and Grill, Export, PA Thursday at 12 noon for a celebration of Ronald’s Life.
