Sergey N. Chaykin

Sergey N. Chaykin, 69, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at his home. Born March 18, 1955 in Stavropol, Russia he was the son of the late Nicholas Zaharovich and Feodosiya Ivanovna Ukolava Chaykin. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 27 years, Mr. Chaykin was a member of House of Prayer for All. He loved taking his family fishing, enjoyed cooking and had a very strong faith.

He is survived by his wife Lyudmila A. Kushuirenko Chaykina, to whom he was married to for 36 years, two daughters Karina Statzula, Galina Chaykina, son Edward Chaykin, three grandchildren Brandon Statzula, Grayson Statzula, Kyoni Ricks, and brother Vladimir Nikolaevich Chaykin. 

Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday from 10-12 noon at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 with the Pastor Victor Mikhnyuk of House of Prayer For All officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
