Wilma Searles Milligan, 71, formerly of Belle Vernon, died at 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, in Washington Hospital, following a long illness.
She was born July 29, 1943, in Belle Vernon, a daughter of the late Howard and Laura Mancuso Searles.
Mrs. Milligan was a retired registered nurse at Mayview State Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Camille and Ted Davidovich of Gilbert, Ariz.; a son, Robert C. Milligan II of Washington; seven grandchildren, Kyrie McConnell and husband Chad, Tara Davidovich, Teddy Davidovich, Tessa Davidovich, Brianna Milligan, Amanda Milligan and Sarah Milligan; two great-grandchildren, Celena McConnell and Calvin McConnell; a sister-in-law, Joyce Searles of Melbourne, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; and her special cousins, Toni and JudyAnn.
Deceased are an infant son, Michael Milligan; a sister, Marie Stefanik; and a brother, Bill Searles.
Mrs. Milligan received great care from Mike Stefanik, Brenda Tetil, Darla Milligan, Bob Milligan and her many caregivers over the years.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, with Pastor Keith Horning officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
