Teresa (Mendicino) O'Toole

Teresa Mendicino O'Toole, 91, of North Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022.  Born January 12, 1931 in North Belle Vernon, PA she was the daughter of the late Dominico and Josephine Ambrose Mendicino.  A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. O'Toole was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon, a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522 and the former ladies guild of St. Sebastian Church.  Teresa enjoyed cooking, baking and most all taking care of her family.  She always had something in the freezer ready to pull out for company.

She is survived by her three sons & daughters in law Ronald & Lisa O'Toole of Murrysville, Gordon & Phoebe O'Toole of Clover, SC, James & Janine O'Toole of York; daughter in law Kathleen O'Toole of Belle Vernon; 11 grandchildren Jeremiah O'Toole, Sean & Brittany O'Toole, Kelly & Elizabeth O'Toole, Bryen O'Toole, Emily O'Toole, Jessica & Steve Ferrari, Ryan O'Toole, Matthew O'Toole, Burke O'Toole & Fiance Hannah, Molly O'Toole, Season West; seven great grandchildren Callie West, Browning West, Ezra O'Toole, Saoirse O'Toole, Gabriel O'Toole, Michelle Claire O’Toole, Angel O’Toole; a great great grandchild Bentley and a special friend of the family Rev. John Foriska.  She is preceded in death by her husband Donald R.  O'Toole Sr.; son Donald O'Toole Jr.; three brothers Michael Mendicino, Joseph Mendicino, James Mendicino; four sisters Ann Ross, Rose Sabatini, Adeline Nuccetelli and Norma Falbo.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston, Rev. John Foriska and Msgr. Jim Gaston.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
